12th Night or What You Will

I had the great joy of playing Maria in Nikolai Mishler's all female adaptation of Twelfth Night at the Brick Theater in Brooklyn this  August.  The play was streamlined to a mere 75 minutes which resulted in a lightning fast raucous musical romp through Shakespeare's finest comedy.

Immurement- an independent project

This past semester I wrote, directed, and performed in a solo show called "Immurement" for my final project at NYU.  Focusing on a woman who is trapped in a room and receives letters from the mysterious force keeping her within, the piece explored themes of self creation and how the ghosts of ones former selves refuse to be ignored.  It was by far the most challenging piece of theater I have ever worked on- especially allowing myself to lose some directorial control because I could not watch myself but I am so glad to have experienced that challenge.

It was met with rave reviews and Tina Shepard of legendary downtown theater company The Talking Band called it "spectacular."

Stay tuned for "Immurement"'s next iteration... It is not ready to be silenced.
